Take Action

Using your number one debt payoff and wealth building tool; your income, to assign each dollar coming in an assignment. This will be done using the budgeting app, Everydollar.  Also, try to increase your income as much as possible while at the sametime removing non-necessities from your bills and other expenditures.

How do I know if I have a financial problem?

A financial problem may be present if you regularly struggle to pay bills, rely on credit cards or loans for everyday expenses, have little or no savings, or feel overwhelmed by your finances. Recognizing these warning signs early can help you take action before the situation becomes more serious.

What are my options for getting out of debt and ahead of my financial obligations?

There are several ways to get out of debt and get ahead of your financial obligations. Start by creating a realistic zero-based budget, reducing unnecessary expenses, increasing your income where possible, and prioritizing your debts—especially those with lower balances utilizing the debt snowball plan. You can also contact creditors to discuss payment options, lower your interest rates, and to get in contact with me here at Thurow Financial. Taking consistent, manageable steps can help you regain control of your finances and build a stronger financial future.

How can I increase my income?

You can increase your income by taking on additional work, starting a side business, freelancing, selling unused items or skills, pursuing higher-paying opportunities, or developing new skills that can lead to better-paying jobs. Signing up for the side gig economy (i.e. DoorDash, UberEats, Uber Ride Share, Lyft, Roadie, Shipt, Spark, Zifty, Courial, etc) for at-will sign on to get some of that extra cash.  Best of all, side gig economy apps are free to have. The best approach depends on your available time, skills, and financial goals.
